Dinner at APO's beach restaurant

Yesterday we were together for an evening dinner at the Apo’s. Four families from Viking City, the fabulous efes beer and a great white vine along with some really good sea food, made it something to remember. The new cooker Ahmet, had prepared some huge tiger shrimps and flamed them at the table together with tomatoes and stuff to make a delicious sauce. Off course we were served champagne to round off the night. Enjoy the pictures.

Explore Camyuva and the Gulf of Antalya

You will never be bored in Camyuva, choose among a wide range of tours and activities as diving, rafting or jeep safari. Take a boat trip and visit the historical arenas of Myra Kekova the “sunken city” and the Lychian tombs. Explore the famous calcite cliffs of Pamukkale and the bath of Cleopatra in a combination of traditional culture and history. For a really relaxing feeling you should visit an original Turkish bath “the hamam” to have massage, steam bath and scrubbing from head to toe. Enjoy the stunning nature on the horse back before you take a better dinner in the Berke Ranch. If you still have energy when evening comes, why not socialise and join into a Turkish night celebration with belly dancing and traditional Turkish dinner, it’s a relaxing experience with an atmosphere of its own. Follow the links on the left.

Camyuva

Central Camyuva is right behind the beach and in close distance from the apartments. Here you can enjoy shopping or the tempting cuisine from a variety of shops and restaurants. Bank machines are easily available but shops and restaurants accept most of the cards too. Many tour operators have their offices here and you can choose from a vide range of sightseeing opportunities made for all ages.

Kemer

Kemer is bigger than Camyuva, the local bus “dolmuc” will take you there in about 15 mins for only 1 euro. The bus goes from just outside Viking City and travels 4 times an hour. In Kemer you will find more shops and restaurants compared to Camyuva but they’re all slightly more expensive. Many shops and restaurants in Camyuva also bring and drop you to and from the apartment. Medic, dentists and opticians do their service for a far cheaper price than we are used to back home, only 30% of the Norwegian prices. You can also do a bargain in leather, jewellery or in carpets.

Viking Beach

Pay a visit to the Viking beach were free sunbeds are just waiting for you, the distance is only 15 mins walk from the apartment. There is also a private bus to the beach every day at 1130hrs.

Stroll along the beach which is just beside central Camyuva and a lot of shopping opportunities and cosy restaurants.

Camyuva Market

Only 5 or 10 mins walk from the apartment there is a market every Wednesday open all day. Its crowdy with merchants from all over the area selling everything you can imagine, an experience you will remember and well worth to visit. Small supermarkets for your everyday use are only minutes away from the apartment.
